Two news stories jumped out at me this week. Early in the week it was another jump in first-class postage from 41 cents to 42 cents. Apparently there's a new law that they have to review postage prices annually and adjust them every May as needed. Those forever stamps are paying off faster than I thought they would.
The other news item that jumped out was the California Supreme Court's ruling overturning a law prohibiting same-sex marriages. Here's the full text of their decision. Honestly, I really don't understand why so many people are so adamantly against same-sex marriage. It's not like anyone is telling them that it's what they have to do.
Self-important "Christians" who decry the ruling should be ashamed of themselves. Jesus was all about love, not intolerance. Live and let live, people.
