The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held at River Farm in Alexandria Virginia on Friday, the 13th of April, 2001. River Farm is just off the George Washington Parkway, midway between Old Town Alexandria and Mount Vernon. It was once the northernmost of George Washington's five farms, and now serves as the headquarters for the American Horticultural Society. They have a great website dedicated to River Farm where, among other things, you can find information on the history of the property or take a virtual tour of the grounds.

Guests should begin arriving at 5 o'clock (spiffy attire requested). We'll begin the ceremony shortly thereafter. Following the ceremony, we'll all adjourn to the terrace for cocktails and a dinner buffet. After dinner, there will be dancing in the ballroom until 9:30 p.m. We're putting together a couple of CDs for the purpose, so if you have any suggestions for good songs, feel free to drop us a note. After dancing we'll begin the mass exodus, as River Farm requires that parties completely vacate by 10 p.m.

For those that wish to continue the festivities, we'll meet afterwards at the Hilton where most out-of-town folks will be staying.
